i'm going to pretend that nelly tagged me, because i live with her and she didn't tag anyone.

20 facts!

1. i just got really excited 10 minutes ago because the seeds i planted in november SPROUTED! pretty little green parsley and basil sprouts. unfortunately, i don't remember which ones are basil and which are parsley.
2. our household vaccuum cleaner only works on one setting, and that setting is "deep shag."
3. we just told the landlord that we're breaking lease in january. he took it well.
4. i have a metallic purple vibrator. i bought it in philadelphia.
5. i have hooked up with two people at xs since i started working there.
6. last night i scaled a fence to see one of them, wherupon he told me that the fence has an unlocked gate.
7. i still walk by myself at night, across north avenue and four more blocks home.
8. i have this feeling that i shouldn't be afraid of my own neighborhood. even though it's probably just overconfidence, since i have not had any run-ins in the two years i've been in baltimore.
9. except for one kid, maybe highschool age, who grabbed my boob as i walked by. but that was just ridiculous.
10. i've been craving long hair again.
11. i rode a motorcycle for the first time in my life a couple nights ago, 100 mph turns on the highway. the air was perfect.
12. this "semester" is the first time i've been working full-time, not going to school, and supporting myself.
13. i kind of really want to be a rapper.
14. i went to the club iguana cantina, downtown, a couple weeks ago with a bunch of my co-workers. i got ridiculously drunk and accidentally made out with some creepy latin guy named raoul who wouldn't stop staring at me.
15. i know most of the words to the black eyed peas "my hump" and i sing and dance to it everytime it plays at xs. which is a lot because most of the time, the tv is stuck on mtv hiphop jams whatnot. i'm getting into rap a lot. and tecnopop. and 80's music. and whetever else is totally dance-able.
16. most of the time, all i want to do is dance.
17. i let myself get absorbed into whatever is around me. this fall i began to feel that i know less than ever what i want out of life.
18. but i'm going to denver in january. i'm a little apprehensive about working for the government, but i'll be doing lots of exciting service projects.
19. i'm fairly certain that i'm not coming back to mica. ever. but i won't stop making art. i carry my sketchbook everywhere.
20. a 20something man that i met told me that a job will never fulfill you, and that part of your life is always found somewhere else. i somewhat disagree with that, and i realized that it's because of my mother. she is a social worker and has always found jobs that are meaningful and challenging and exciting to her. i inherited that kind of work ethic from her and i think that i will hold whatever career i have to that ideal.
